The great state of Texas is filled with talented bands and solo acts who just haven’t had that right opportunity to try to break through! Keller Williams Northeast would like to support these rising stars by giving an opportunity to one local band or solo act each month to perform as the opening act at the Keller Williams Northeast Concert Series.
Bands/solo acts, you must submit a YouTube performance video that will be posted on the KW Northeast Facebook page. Fans will then vote on their favorite band/solo act to be the warm-up act at the next concert. The band/solo act video that receives the most votes will perform as the opening act at the next month’s Keller Williams Friday Concert Series, which takes place on the third Friday of each month.
NOTE: IF YOU SUBMIT YOUR BAND/SOLO ACT VIDEO TODAY, YOU WILL BE ENTERING TO PERFORM AT THE NEXT UPCOMING CONCERT (February through November 2012).
***Due to not having a competition in April, all current entrants will be in competition to perform for the May 18th concert***

Kingwood’s Got Talent Contest Rules 12-7-11

2. Fill out Contest Entry information below.
3. Contestant must have a YouTube URL to participate.
4. At least one member of musical act (band or solo act) should reside in Kingwood, Atascocita, Humble or a surrounding community, or have attended school in one of those areas of Northeast Houston.
5. Keller Williams and its associates reserve the right to review and deny YouTube videos, and thus contestant entries, due to inappropriate language or video content.
6. Winning contestant will be based on the most “likes” for their YouTube video during the contest period. Only one “like” or vote per person/Facebook account. Number of “likes” per contestant will be posted during the duration of the contest. Only the “likes” on the Keller Williams Northeast Facebook page recorded on the videos under the YouTube tab will be counted as official “likes.”
7. Deadline to submit entry and deadline for voting is the first Friday of the month before the concert (ie. Jan 6 for Feb. 17 concert).
8. 2012 Keller Williams Concert dates with Kingwood’s Got Talent performances: Feb. 17, March 16, May 18, July 20, Aug. 17, Sept. 21, Oct. 19, Nov. 16.
9. Winning contestant will be notified at least one month prior to Keller Williams concert performance date.
10. By entering, the contestant agrees to perform on concert date from 6-7 p.m. at Kings Harbor, 1660 W. Lake Houston Pkwy., Kingwood, TX 77339.
11. No cash or trade payment will be given to winning contestant in turn for performance.
12. Contestant will provide own instruments and utilize the sound system provided by the concert’s featured performer.
13. Contestant must not have a talent agent, manager or recording contract which would prohibit a live performance.
14. Non-winning contestants may re-submit their entry to subsequent Kingwood’s Got Talent competitions.
15. Contest limited to the first 12 contestants to submit an entry during each contest period.
16. In the case that the concert must be cancelled, the Kingwood’s Got Talent winner will be re-scheduled for a Keller Williams concert date mutually-agreeable to all parties.
